Perhaps just as interesting is workarounds:

  1. a) You can use the Postman tool and b) copy the Vapi doc for the functionality in question c) change Postman's URL line to the URL for the create tool or other functionality, d) set the Postman authorization to your secret API key, and e) finally run the command to create the tool.  Credit Quicy at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04zG-A38ja4&ab_channel=QuincyMcCants%7CVoiceAIAutomation .
